Gourmet Food & Wine Producers
Come along and chat with Gourmet Food and Wine producers from around
Victoria and Australia who will be only to happy for you to taste and
purchase their produce. The exhibition will showcase Guest Chefs and
Demonstrators utilising locally grown produce in the Demonstration
Kitchen. Celebrity Chefs include Gabriel Gate' who will share his love
of Gourmet Food.

Tastebuds will be tantalised as the crème de la crème of Victoria's gourmet food producers 'cook up a storm' with demonstrations to stimulate the appetite of any fine dining connoisseur.
In vino veritas (in wine there is truth) – it's an adage as old as Bacchus – and the truth is epicureans will be left with an indelible impression on their palates as the finest of Australian wines is also showcased.
The history of wine dates back to the ancient Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. It is even written that Jesus turned water into wine for a wedding feast – but don't expect such holy happenings here!
Last Years Exhibitions
The best of north-eastern Victoria – Yackandandah – exhibited delicious jams and preserves from Yackandandah Jam and Preserving Companies. Produce from the area has its own special character and with an emphasis on fresh, natural ingredients the family business makes some of the most scrumptious spreads in the state.
Cheese is milk’s leap toward immortality… and the Maffra Cheese Company displayed some fantastic fine-grade cheeses made from the milk of their 200 fresian cows.
Other exhibitors included: Waterthins, manufacturers of premium fine wafer crispbreads, cheese twists, pita chips and new-release Bagelettes bite-sized gourmet toasts; Cassalare Specialty Pasta with their gluten-free wheat-free range, spelt range and organic range of pastas, rice pastas and gourmet pastas; Jalna Dairy Foods with their new Jalna Vitalize range of yoghurts that contain ingredients to aid specific bodily functions; XOCAI (show-seye) pure dark chocolate with high antioxidant levels which have been shown to have health benefits ranging from combating high cholesterol to fighting wrinkles; and Australian Wine and Food presented a vintage array of Australian wines including shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay and many more from boutique wineries around Australia.
